Welcome to the Pre-Dental Newsletter. This is a newsletter written by the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) District 1 Pre-Dental Committee, composed of both dental students and pre-dental delegates. ASDA District 1 represents the New England dental schools, Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Harvard University School of Dental Medicine, Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, and University of New England College of Dental Medicine. Although District 1 represents the dental students of New England, the Pre-Dental Committee is here to provide resources for pre-dental students throughout the country.
This newsletter is catered to pre-dental students throughout the country who want to learn more about the dental admissions process and the field of dentistry. We plan on releasing two articles each month. One will be written by a dental student answering a dental admissions question. You can submit questions in the comment section below or look out for our Instagram stories on the @asdadistrict1 page. The second article will be written by a pre-dental delegate about a current topic in dentistry. If you would like to learn more about a specific topic in dentistry, also comment below.
